Patti Duke called into O'Reilly last night. She really sounded great. She came out of a very dark place and got the help she needed.

I found it hard to watch, I wish only the best for both Connie and Patty. We never really know what goes on in the lives of others.

They had an album of her singing all Italian songs.
I grew up listening to and singing those songs.
Me, too, only it was my Dad! I have always had a soft spot for her and am so glad she was able to overcome the horrid things that happened to her.
She's one tough (and adorable) cookie!

Connie used to be a regular on D*ck Clark's American Bandstand. Her hit, "Who's Sorry Now" has always been one of my favorites. She is now 75 years old. I also loved the songs she did in Italian ... what a beautiful voice. I wish O'Reilly had asked her to sing last night. I'll bet she still has the "pipes." Perhaps he did and she declined. Continued good health for both Connie and Patti.

we all get old and not everyone ages well. What can you do about it?

Like I said in my other post I had not watched the factor yet. I did watch the factor and it is pretty obvious to me that Connie Francis had a major stroke of some kind. While she had a great celebrity life in her prime, bad things happen to good people.
I loved her voice and still listen to many of her songs of old and enjoy them as much as ever. I wish her the best with the rest of her life as life has not treated her all that well.
