I am sad to see that photo of her. She was so lovely.

I'm remembering that she was raped while staying in a hotel and then just dropped out of sight for many years. I'm sure that incident had something to do with her mental state.

Love her singing and she always seemed genuinely sweet. Sorry to see she has so altered her appearance.

If her name wasn't on the screen, I never would have known who she was.

My mom loved listening to her sing...

Had she just left her face alone, she would probably still be beautiful. My husband was shocked to see her, and he usually doesn't comment on how people look. Her lips are over-inflated and they interfered with her speech.

I don't care what she has or has not done to her face. Connie Francis is a survivor and we had so many of her albums growing up. ""Where the Boys Are"" - such a fun movie.

I did not see the interview but I hope Connie is at peace in her later years and I wish her all the best.

My first thought. Forever in my memory. I'd love to hear her sing again. I'll bet she's still got it. She didn't go out for a looooong time after what happened. Ruined her life. I can understand that. I'd welcome her back in any way, shape or form.

Connie's no spring chicken anymore. She was quite a looker back in the day and could really sing. I saw her last night as well, and agree that her lips didn't seem right. But we've got to hand it to her and Patty Duke, two women who have seen extreme darkness and horrible treatment in their lives, but got the right help and were able to be victorious. The point, I think, is that if Karen Carpenter, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, John Belushi, Heath Ledger, Robin Williams, (and the list goes on) could have latched onto a lifeline, their lives could have been much different.

Aw, I feel bad for her. What I don't understand is why women get the chipmunk cheeks, Joan Rivers looks so goofy with those fat cheeks. Looks like she's storing nuts for the winter.

Early 70s I think.
