Many of the terrorists themselves are young- teens and young 20s. You are right that not all children are happy and well adjusted. Some are violent, hateful and scary. However, it is not the norm and it SHOULDN'T be that way. Young people are our future and we should always strive to protect and nuture them so they grow into loving caring people.

@QueenDanceALot ITA with your statement. When my DH asked me who Ms. Grande was, I told him about the donut incident (that's all I know of her career~!) She did the "right thing" and cancelled the rest of her tour. (I am not a fan of anyone with an attitude).

I don't really expect her to think much about anyone but herself here, no matter what her PR people say.
That said, I like some of her music. She does have a lot of talent.
Her behavior has been questionable throughout the yrs, no doubt.
This would've been a good time for her image to do a '180'.
Cancelling the remaining concert was good, but maybe
setting up a foundation for the victims, etc. Giving back.
Showing you care....but, nope. Time will tell, tho.
True, on one hand we can say 'it's not about Ariana Grande',
but on the other hand, it is. Her name will always be associated
w/ this tragedy. Her story could be rewritten to help so many people.

Ariana Grande is 23 years old. This is a horrific cross for anyone to bear, let alone a young person. If I invited friends to my house and it burned down and killed many of them, I would be beside myself and find it difficult to live with that guilt. And I'm in my 50s.
AG will have to live with this forever- and that's a long, long time for her. She's going to need therapy. My heart breaks for her as my heart breaks for the victims and their families.

This is so sad. Why do people have to be so mean and horrible??? Prayers for all victims.

Apparently whatever she says or does it won't be enough, it won't be the "right" thing and it definitely won't be fast enough.

6:31 AM PT -- NBC reports the suspected bomber has been identified as 22-year-old Salom Ramadan Abedi.
The suicide bomber at Ariana Grande's concert did not act alone ... according to police who say they've nabbed another man in connection with the attack.
Greater Manchester Police say they arrested the 23-year-old man Tuesday. They have not said what his connection is to the bomber, who was one of the 22 killed when he detonated the "nail bomb" Monday night in the rotunda at Manchester Arena.
The bust seems to point to the bomber not acting as a so-called lone wolf.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming it was executed by one of its "soldiers."
Story developing ...

I agree. Why her past has any need of mention pertaining to this horrific act is beyond ridiculous. Or the judgment and critique of her tweet, seriously? She is not a senior statesmen she is a kid herself who had nothing to do with what happened.

There will always be a few who make it appear that it's the majority... it ISN'T. Unless, of course, you choose to see it that way.

Tap the brakes.

Geeze....why would you go there?
So is everyone saying she shouldn't help the victims?
