On HLN a woman read a speech the mom gave (I believe at the funeral). In it she said she didn't want the baby back to experience the many heartbreaks life brings, such as not having anyone to sit with at the lunch table in middle school, your grandparents passing away etc. A shrink was on too and said grief does affect people in multiple ways but the mom's speech creeped her out and professionally she found it highly unusual.

Yeah. I'd go ahead and call that bizarre.
