Computer Calendar

I have recently switched from Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird. I like the Thunderbird email much better but I miss the calendar feature of the Live Mail. I would put due dates for payments on the calendar and then when I made the online payment, I would copy/paste the confirmation number onto the calendar as paid.

Same thing with if I ordered something, I'd put on the date I ordered and order confirmation info. Even customer service conversations, I note on the calendar with time and if it's online chat, I copy paste that onto the calendar or if on phone I would note who I talked to and certain details of the conversation. It made for easy tracking if I had to follow up on something.

Anybody have a recommendation for a replacement as a reminder/tracking appt. calendar? One that would sync between computer and Android devices would be nice but not a necessity.
