The dragonfly is stunning!  

We have them here in Oregon, but they are electric blue.  Where are you taking these?

hello @timeless Thank you so much! I have a pool in my yard and so many dragonflies are flying around! I love them! I live on the North Shore, just outside of Boston. I cannot ever remember seeing a bright red dragonfly! ❤️ They dip into my pool constantly... but have never seen red!

@JFD12  -  One of the reasons I love summertime is because of the green grass and flowers.  These pictures are just lovely.  The dragon fly and bird pics put a smile on my face.  Thanks for sharing.

@JFD12 - WOW!  Stunning is definitely the word for those dragonfly photos!

What did you take them with?  We have thousands of dragonflies around us right now.  We nicknamed our home Dragonfly Alley years ago because of the thick clouds of them every summer.  20 acres and fields of wildflowers are responsible for that.  We love watching them.

I've taken some photos in the past but haven't managed it this summer.  But none to compare to those you've shared.

What a great post!  (Love the flowers and the hawk, too!)

@Venezia  thank you so much! ❤️ I take alll my pictures with my cell phone... this version is the Samsung Galaxy S24 plus. I have had this phone for maybe almost two years now? I have never had an IPhone, nor do I ever want one. Ì am a Samsung girl forever! But... my iPad is my iPad and I will never switch. I do believe the Samsung phones outdo the Apple phones. My opinion only.
