Re: Community Chat Chit-Chat thread!

I LOVE tattoos but personally do not have any. I think they are fascinating because most have a story behind them. Anyone ever read the Ray Bradbury book The Illustrated Man? I loved that book. Anyway, there are so many badly done tattoos but regardless, it is the story behind them that is of the most interest to me. I also prefer the thin line, black and white with shading tattoos over the colored or thick lined ones.

Ray Bradbury was one of my favorite authors when I was in school. Besides the mandatory read of Fahrenheit 451 that we had to read in school, I picked up the book Something Wicked This Way Comes and he had a play called The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit which I see was made into a movie of some sort.

Two of my sons grew to read his stories.

Hi JustJazzMom.  I like your piece!  I have a couple of metal art pieces too.

This one's actually mixed media - wood and metal.

I've thought about getting eyelash extensions but I figure I'd keep fingering them and mess them up.

@SHIRAZ

The one over the door frame reminds me of the old fashioned elevator floor designators.

I never thought of that, but you're right. I kind of does. Smiley Happy

If you are used to wearing mascara, you wouldn't be prone to messing with the eyelash extension.  You're already used to not rubbing your eyes. You can even wash your face normally. You just can't use oil-based cleanser around the lashes and since you're not wearing mascara, you don't have to.

I love the idea of a big blue dramatic eye tatoo!

that would rule me out for eyelash extensions, as I need an oil based cleanser for my eyeliner (I use S. Korean eyeliners and they do not BUDGE. move. at all)
