I just had my nails painted blue and I'm in the process of looking for a reputable place to get eyelash extensions.

I'm a mauve wearing (lips and nails), bob cut, Talbots kinda girl.  I want to do some things different ( within reason) LOL

Not if it involves a tatoo!! I have a friend who took her mom and daughter to a tatoo artist. They all got the same tatoo on their ankle-it went part way up the outside of the leg. All 3 said the part at the ankle hurt soooooo much that they doubted they'd get what they were thinking of doing for the other ankle.

I'm not really into voluntary pain. The dermatologist gives me enough of that-

I got a tattoo when I broke up with my ex. many moons (suns) ago. It was the best thing I could ever have done. Any pain was SO worth it. It is on my right shoulder. Nothing major, just a HUGE sun, something like this but with more reds and oranges:

Hi everyone!

Back from Costco and a glass of vino with my friend.  They have some REALLY cute swimsuit coverups there right now. They're made by Miraclesuit and are in the $15 price range.  It's 3/4 sleeves and a nice crochet texture.  Excellent quality.

For those of you considering eyelash extensions, I had them done last year at holiday time. My nail tech does them and is very, very skilled.  I loved them. Your eyes look finished all the time and it does save time in the morning. I let them grow out in February in order to save money for my Hawaii trip in September.  I'm putting the lashes back on in the next month or so. They'll be great for vacation.

B, your tatoo pics are beautiful.  I'm considering getting one while in Hawaii.  I haven't made my mind up yet.

When getting a tattoo can they first apply lidocaine or similar to numb nerve endings?
