My high school had a indoor phone booth right in the hall out side of the gym.

It was pretty cool at the time.  I called for a ride home many times from there.

Kids are very lucky......all of their school questions and answers are right at their finger tips.

Long ago, we had to take public transportation to the main library's reference section......couldn't take out books to borrow....had to 'copy' everything by hand, and re-write everything in order to hand to our teacher.

And never mind 'taking notes'......I guess kids now-a-days can record teacher's lessons/lectures in the classroom.

I often tell grandkids how lucky they are.......

@ROMARY Now you are taking me back!!!❤ I have not thought about it in a month of Sundays😁, but can recall many days having to take notes for an assignment or upcoming test and the HOURS it sometimes took!!!! I so do NOT miss those days!!😄 This makes me most grateful for the the convenience of internet, cell phones, puters and tablets as learning aids at your fingertips!!!!❤❤🥰

Boy does this bring back memories. Reminds me of the 10cent phone calls made in them. That's as far back as I can recall anyway.
