As I have never gone commando I do not know about chafing. I know a lady at work told us she did not wear underwear. I will not tell you about the the stains we observed or the less than pleasant aromas that frequently accompanied her.

This is going to date me big time. My first thought was, oh, maybe the lady's supervisor should have sent her to the onsite nurse.

All jokes aside, I can understand that some women have a harder time with nylon underpants versus cotton underpants and the lady noted above may have had some hypersensitivity or condition that required more ventilation.

I guess that's possible, but imo she should have had the class not to even mention it, except perhaps to her best friend.

I'm kind of shocked to hear so many people apparently don't wear underwear.

When I potty trained our daughter, I told her she would be a big girl without diapers, and big girls got nice underpants. We went shopping together and I let her pick out all the fancy underpants she wanted.

To this day, I frequently get her fancy underwear on holidays, and she will get some for me. The two of us have enough nice underwear to sink a ship, LOL

I have friends and family that do like undies. My mother was in the hospital once and ask me to buy her some panties because she didn't own any. My mother!!!! That is one of those things that a child (even a grown one) does not need to know.
