Re: Comfort Dogs Injured In Missouri

I hope they have a full recovery. As for the rest I won't type what I'm thinking.

I don't quite understand what these dogs and people are doing but if they're showing up at riots, I don't think they have any business being there.

From the article it seems like they were leaving Joplin and got caught up in the riot.

@Say Nay, @Kachina624

I think you are confusing Joplin, Missouri with Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  There were no recent riots in Joplin.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

@Marp You're right. Thanks. The recent rioting has been heavy on my mind and even though it's clear in the OP for some reason I read it as referring to Milwaukee. I blame it on the heat : (

This is so upsetting, those dogs  do such good work, but not sure in my mind if this is a good idea for owners to do this with them.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

Re: Comfort Dogs Injured In Missouri

There was no riot in Joplin. It was just a crazy shooter.

The "Comfort dogs and their handlers" were on their way to St Louis for a meeting about their ministry with the "Comfort dogs".

These dogs are brought in to cope with terrible situations like the horrible tornado that struck Joplin.

This is a wonderful organization and has helped many many people.
