I only went once when out-of-state visitors wouldn't take no for an answer.  It was beautiful but TERRIFIED!!  After dinner and a couple glasses of wine, I enjoyed the return ride.

I love that tram.  Unfortunately the last time I was atop Sandia was around 1995, and we ate at the High

Finance (I have their menu here somewhere).

@MamaWick    High Finance was torn down and replaced by a new building called 10-30, for the altitude. It's supposed to have better views.

Oh, how I'd love to, Kachina, but I can't.  My old-age (actually began in my 40s) fear of heights prohibits me from taking this ride.

When I was 29, I took a tram car (or something similar) to the top of the Zugspitze in Germany.  I was fearless then, I suppose.

@golding76   @Mombo1   I was very apprehensive before my first ride but I was so busy looking at the scenery and watching for bears and deer that I forgot to be scared.  I was so glad I went and have been many times since.

Loved that tram ride, but part of me was a big scaredy cat. Lol

I couldn't deal with that. My anxiety would go out of control.

I would have to be fully sedated. Totally out.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I rode the Zugspitze tram in Germany.  I was a little nervous getting on but it was foggy going up.  We knew we were above trees but couldn't see it.  It was hot at the bottom of the mountain, but got caught in a blizzard up on top.
