Color-Coded Terror Alert System Will Be Phased Out

The story leaked before Janet Napolitano could make the announcement. Apparently they don't think the color-coded terror alert system is viable so they are phasing it out in the next 90 days.

I guess it doesn't much matter because we're always on orange, which is a high terror alert. I doubt if we'll ever be on a blue or green, which is "low" and "guarded." If it ever gets to red, by the time we are notified we'll probably all be gone anyway.

Scary stuff.
