I noticed that a lot of the ""facts"" about Coke are ""unproven.""
Someone apparently doesn't know what a ""fact"" is.

I have Crohns disease and when I go through flares my stomach gets really upset and sometimes nothing else can stop it, even prescription meds. Only Coke works for me, not Ginger Ale or any kind of white pop.
I grew up in a foreign country and we had lots of family visitors! They would often go overboard on the "different" foods and drinks and then would be sick to their stomachs. My mother always gave them Coke and saltines to calm their jumpy stomachs. I always have a Coke or two in the fridge for those times when the stomach gets out of sorts.

When I was young, my mother always kept a bottle of coke syrup on hand for stomach issues. The syrup was much more effective as it was not diluted with water as the soda is.
This was sold at drug stores and I believe it still is.

I drink at least 12 cokes a day. Force myself to drink 16 oz of water a day. I am a cokeaholic and I admit it.
