Facts About Water

Facts About Coke
Now the question is, would you like a coke or a glass of water?
Note from Carol: The following are some additional bits of information I discovered about soft drinks and phosphoric acid:
CONCLUSIONS: High prevalence of exposure and excessive consumption of soft drinks may represent a public health problem. Data analysis shows that soft drink consumption may not be as harmless as generally believed.

Water from my well is more thirst-quenching than a soda.

My doctor told me that people should take their weight, divide it by 2 and that is how many ounces of water they should be drinking a day. I do that and have for a while. I probably drink way more when you add in the Chai tea I drink too.
I probably drink Coke about once or twice a month. It isn't that I don't like it because I do, I just get very jittery when I do drink it even when I drink caffeine free. I also don't ever eat or drink diet anything because fake sugar tears up my stomach.
I know that A LOT of people don't drink the amount of water that they should. 75% really doesn't surprise me at all.
Dehydration really does affect your body too. I can SO tell a difference in my energy levels and other things about my body when I don't drink enough water.

I drink only water, very rarely soda since soda & I don't get along. (heartburn & hiccups when I drink soda unless it's one of the clear sodas such as 7-Up or diet ginger ale)

Water! I grew up in an area in Wisconsin that has the purest natural water anywhere.

On 2/22/2014 september said: I keep a few cans of Coke on hand for when I'm sick to my stomach. Yes, it helps! Otherwise, I prefer water.
It absolutely does help. I have Crohns disease and when I go through flares my stomach gets really upset and sometimes nothing else can stop it, even prescription meds. Only Coke works for me, not Ginger Ale or any kind of white pop.

I hardly ever drink soft drinks anymore. Maybe once in a while get one when I'm out shopping, but rarely drink it at home. At work I only drink water. At home I drink water mixed with a little bit of cranberry juice or lemon for a little bit of flavor (several large glasses a day) and the occasional cup of hot tea. Even when I go out to eat at a restaurant, I only drink water.

I like a can of diet cola in the morning instead of coffee, then I switch to water.
