I love the idea of the cloves, too, Romary! Definitely going to try those. Have previously used those fridge boxes of Arm & Hammer. I bet the nursery disks Lola posted are better.

p.s. I've been using Unscented Arm and Hammer Cat Litter which includes baking soda. (For my cat). It is very 'fresh' smelling without added fragrances. I'm guessing that it would be ideal for closets. If you have room fill a new kitty litter pan with the (above mentioned) litter and place in the bottom of your closet. The secret is using UNSCENTED so your clothing won't smell like regular scented kitty litter!

p.s. If you have the space somewhere, even the garage, outside, etc., could you hang your wet towels on a wooden (or other) drying rack? Until washing day. I have a wooden drying rack in a tub that isn't often used, and I hang wet towels there for a couple of days. But, I also occasionally dry them in the garage when the tub is being used. Doing this prevents musty, moldy towels and the chance of mold growing in the hamper. Just a thought, anyway............p.s. You might want to sprinkle baking soda in your hamper, too. Won't hurt clothing.

Went to Michael's and purchased tulle in my fave color. This week I'm doing a little grocery shopping and will pick up whole cloves and should have my closet quite fragrant buy week's end.

I used to leave empty coffee cans on a shelf above the litter box in the utility room when I was fostering my DD's cats while she was in college. Sure made a diff.

Glad you will try the whole cloves! (Natural, and no chemicals, too!) No need to buy the expensive ones.....As I said before, find the least expensive, most likely in the Mexican/International aisle, hanging in cellophane bags. Lots of good luck and pleasant aroma!
