I just received my sandals today in the black and I really like them They are actually comfortable right out of the box.

My only problem was that I may have been under a false impression that a lot of Clark's shoes were made in the US. These sandals were made in China. I wonder what percent of their stock is made in this country. I wish Amy would mention the country of origin when presenting the items.

Isn't it like everything else?  They used to be manufactured in the U. S., but now in China.

I'm not surprised at all.

Most things now come from China!  Hopefully at some future time more goods will be USA made...

Got the taupe and love them - so cushy!  Wish they had not used velcro on the straps though 'cause have small ankles and they're a little loose since the velcro prevents me from tightening more - but they're a keeper anyways!

i like Clarks too. I thought they were originally made in England before moving manufacturing to China.

If you want USA made shoes visit an SAS store or go online. They are more expensive but they are great shoes..

If your ONLY problem is where they are made, you don't have a problem.  I am just happy that Clark's finally got a handle on their quality issues and I can make a purchase without thinking my shoes will fall apart while I'm wearing them.  And, this was way before their China connection.  Whoever is making the shoes for them, keep it up please!

Re: Clark's recent TSV sandals

I ordered the pewter in narrow and then canceled my order when I read one review that stated these sandals do not have arch support - a MUST for those of us with plantar fasciitis.
