I was thinking the same. It does look like stained glass.

We missed them this time around.  Although the bottom part of our state had them.  Our worst one was 2 years ago.  They were everywhere.  Those terrible flyers.  They didn't fly but stumble on to you.  In your hair, etc.  One time I carried one home on one of my letters after visiting the mail box.  Funny but I kind of missed them....

I would wear it...love all the colors and the stained glass effect of the cicada!

 

Our "outbreak" seems to be about over, thank goodness.

I found one on Saturday morning here south of  Monroe NC.  I downloaded the Cicada Safari app and reported my finding. 

 

I would love that tee!
