@4kitties, I'd never heard of walking stick bugs! They are so neat! I could watch them all day. I love praying mantis too!

@Kachina624 I absolutely hate that racket they make. I can remember them being called "Dry Flys" also--associated with the hot hot dry summers in Oklahoma.

And snakes.
Other than that, I'm good.
I often think that too!![]()
Especially what we call "unmentionables."

I think the katydid is pretty but the cicada not so much. I'm thinking if the katydid was brown I wouldn't think it was pretty at all.
Every green bug is pretty to me or yellow or anything but brown.
Black spiders or brown- no ,can't have them around but the kind of clear or white with long delicate legs I think are pretty too and I will take them outside.
An exception is black ants. I think they are cute, unless they are in the house or swarming the outside!
Does anyone else feel this way?
I'm sure all the bugs think humans are horrible looking.
I wonder if it's because the ones starting with an R -ick!! are brown,
so every bug that is brown is creepy too.
I'm sorry bugs.
But black ants are ok.
OOO! I just saw the browser arrow out of the corner of my eye and thought it was a bug!!
eeekk!
I will cease talking about it now lol
now that I've totally creeped myself out!

The walking sticks always fascinate me. Some are brown and some are green.
