It's a wild animal...let it go to live its life in nature. Do we have to cage and pick apart and run tests on this poor beast? It would probably die.
Seriously, that woman and her husband should be urged to release it back into its natural habitat. Somehow, though, I don't think they are going to do that at all (OMG..."Bubba"???!!?).
I think "Bubba" is a common southern nickname.Do you know what its origins are? Is it a shortened version of a name (Robert?) or endearment? It's just that I've always seen it associated with a not-too-terribly-bright person. At least that's the way it's depicted on TV and in movies.
Yes. That's the sad thing about it. Southern mannerisms and colloquialisms are often cast as less than intelligent.
I'm guessing "Bubba" is a derivative of "Brother" but don't know for sure.
Thank you, BMUS, for explaining. BTW, I love most Southern mannerisms and colloquialisms.
Me too! My step parents were both from Arkansas and I LOVE that stuff!

All I see are Marsupials which have short front legs??

Can't believe how gullible people really are. The chupacabra has been a well-know myth for decades and more. But often odd strains of wild animals get blamed into being it.
Yeah, that one looks really fierce to me...ha ha ha !

Mystery Solved.................as expected it was a raccoon with a very bad case of mange..........it was put down by the people that found it.............................................raven

UPDATE
Bubba had the animal euthanized. PETA told the couple it's illegal to keep wild animals like that, and they should get it treated and released or humanely euthanized. They went for euthanization.
The couple obviously knew it wasn't a chupacabra, and once their five minutes of fame was up, they didn't care one hoot about the poor animal (not even to find out what it really was).
