It's ONLY October - and the Q has 2 or 3 Christmas Trees on their set. What's up with that? Why don't they just leave the trees up all year long?

Re: Christmas Trees

[ Edited ]

Tis the season of the same question over and over and over again.  How is it that there are still people who don't know that Qvc is retailer?   Qvc isn't celebrating Christmas, they are selling things FOR Christmas...hence....trees in October.  It wouldn't make much sense if they started selling Christmas merchandise in December.

Most of the stores in my area have their Christmas trees on display along with the rest of the holiday decor.  Christmas items are only needed for a short time, so there isn’t much time to sell all that stuff.

After Christmas, people only want to buy it at  50 to 75% off.  This happens every year. So it shouldn’t be a surprise.  You Have to make hay while tthe sun is shining.

I personally think the whole Christmas season is ridiculous.  It is out of hand and crazy.  It has turned into a holiday for retailers to make a fortune.   It’s supposed to be a religious holy day, but has turned into a spend fest for junk that no one really needs.
