Christmas Tree shops to close

Christmas tree shops to close all stores as liquidation in filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy

wonder if they will reduce  prices on inventory  significantly or do as  bed   bath beyond and Toys R Us which only did a 10% off initally  then 20% before they closed

Re: Christmas Tree shops to close

Yeah it's been on the local news here the past couple of days in the Boston area.  I'm sad that all the stores will be gone.  I still had two stores close by that remained open after the other recent closings.  It's where I buy my K-cups at great prices.  Now I'll have to find another source.  Think I'll try to go there this week and pick up a few boxes and stock up.  Such a shame the stores will be gone.  It has always been a fun place to shop.

Well, that stinks!  I so enjoy browsing that store.  Always seem to come out with something, and love going around holiday times.   I'm sorry to see it go.  Originally, I heard it wouldn't close but would go under the name CTS, but I guess that's not in the works now.

@LdyBugzI don't use k-cups but a friend does and he picks them up at Sam's Club and Costco when we shop there.  I think he said compared to Amazon the warehouse stores have better prices but it'd be good to compare.

I thought the store's name was strange.  Only a small part of its merchandise had anything to do with Christmas.

That's unfortunate! There is one location not too far from me, which I used to enjoy going to. Once BBB purchased them and they rebranded; heading away from holiday decor to selling everyday items. I felt they went downhill the last couple of years as did BBB.

For me , it was enjoyable when I was at the beach to go  on a rainy  day to  the  Christmas  Tree store and see all the various decorated trees

@rockygems123 Thanks for the tip!  There's a Costco 10 minutes away so I'll have to check it out.  😀👍👍

Re: Christmas Tree shops to close

I remember going to the original store in Yarmouthport as a kid.  I remember the old white building with windows with small panes all along one side.  Back then, before Rt. 495, going to The Cape was an easy day trip and we went a lot in the summertime.  A nice leisurely Sunday drive through the towns to get to the bridge then a scenic drive to all the shops, food, and the shore of course.  Went over on the Bourne and back on the Sagamore.  Was happy to see more stores evolve closer to me as there was great stuff in them.  Sorry to see yet another icon go.  :smileysad:
