I will miss the Christmas Tree Shops. Went there many years and loved it.

News from today May 5th:

 

Christmas Tree Shops, a Massachusetts-based business that has existed for more than 50 years, has reportedly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

 

The Wall Street Journal reported that the company filed for Chapter 11 on Friday with a plan to emerge from bankruptcy in months with most of its stores remaining open.

 

According to the WSJ, the retail store chain intended to close 10 underperforming locations in bankruptcy and exit Chapter 11 by August.

 

The Middleboro, Massachusetts-based company has no plans to seek a buyer, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The area where the store is in portsmoth nh,also has a bed and bath. store,i am wondering what will replace both stores.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

Not sure if that one will be closing, I haven't seen a press release of the ones that will be closing.
