My mom passed away 12 years ago - Her birthday was Christmas. My dad has also passed away - his birthday was New Years Day.

A lady I work with has Christmas Day as her birthday too.

Hutchlll, Did your Mom have a Christmas style name? Did she like her Birthday? I like mine because sometimes I get special attention. A lot of people forget it also. My mom was very religious. (Before she met my father she was thinking of becoming a nun). She felt special having the same birthday as Jesus. I think she did get "cheated" when it came to getting gifts, but gifts were not really that important to her.

No - she did not have a Christmas style name. Her name was Dorothy.

I have a friend that has 9/11 birthday. One thing I can say about it, is that it's a date not easy to forget.

Just learned today that my friends husband's birthday is Christmas day and his sister was born on the same day the following year.

My birthday is Christmas Day, makes me special in a way. My mother still makes me a birthday cake and wraps a little gift in birthday paper. My husbands is New Years Day. We usually celebrate that on New Years Eve.
