Check your bags when you buy the candy. (Unless you dont mind this). DH and I went out today to 2 places for cards, baskets, straw, AND Easter candy to make baskets for our 3 granddaughters.

Was so suprised that 1/3 of what I picked up (to read labels) was made in CHINA. (I was looking for "other" candy to add to candy we already had boughtas in we already had the chocolate and peanut butter and plain chocolates and some peeps).

Well,I found Chinese jelly beans, Chinese gum, Chinese Easter lollipops.lol. All of which I didnt buy. I moved on to the USA brands I knew in spite of higher prices for those. Is there anything NOT made in China? Even some food at the grocery store, (I check labels), have been from China. No thanks.
