I almost always buy a;; oir cat food from Chewy! As someone else stated their C/S is the best. I usually get my order in 2-3 days but lately it's been a day or 2 longer. I am findimng lately that they have been out of stock an a few of the items I buy but so are the other stores when I Google the items. Not sure why that's happening. It is mostly with Fancy Feast food and Whiskas. Anyone else notice the shortages lately. Thanks

Chewy is great!  They ship so fast after you place the order.

The dog food we use is exactly the same subscription price on Amazon as it on Chewy's auto-order. Since we use our Amazon card, we get an additonal 5% off.

I love Chewy's.  I've never had a shipping issue, and their prices are kept competitive.  But beyond that, their customer service is stellar!

My 10-lb Morkie had a bad reaction (not serious) to a new treat I ordered from them.  Not only did they give me a full refund, but they emailed me three days later, "We just wanted to see how little Allie is doing, and hope she's feeling much better."

I stopped buying from Chewy when they sent me a package that looked like this:

I emailed them as soon as I opened the box and they promptly refunded me (told me to donate it.) Chewy was super convenient at the beginning of the shut down, but it's not out of my way to stop at Petco or PetSmart, so I just go there now.

Interesting, I shop with them a lot and they are frequently out of one thing or another but I've never been offered a coupon. I might have to speak with someone about that because I'm a very good customer and often when things come back in stock it isn't enough to gain one free shipping. That said, they're usually pretty reliable and their customer service is generally good, though there have been exceptions.

@LillyandHobo  Yes, availabiliy has been an issue across the board. Even the local Petsmart often has a very limited variety, though the one near me has never been a well stocked store. I asked one of the customer service folks ad Chewy while doing a chat and she posted an internal memo, which I wish I'd copied, explaining to associates that a number of brands would be impacted, possibly for some time to come and the scarcity would also impact auto deliveries. I don't recall the reasoning, but I believe, like everything else these days, the virus played a part, and I think it might have had something to do with the parent companies that make these goods were also having to focus on other products. It used to be if I couldn't find something at Chewy I could find it on Amazon but that's no longer the case and occasionally if a 3rd party vendor at Amazon does have it, they're price gouging and selling the item for substantially more than it's usual cost.

I agree with you 100 percent on the price gouging! I haven't been able to find Whiskas that one of the strays I feed absolutely loves! She wouldn't eat anything til I found that. Now I kinda have her switched to Tiny Tiger? That's all she'll eat now,  My indoor cats are hooked on diff types of the Fancy Feast and sometimes the Savory Centers those are also out of stock everywhere. But you are probably right about the virus affecting everything! Thanks for your response and take care!

@LillyandHobo , My sister put in a Chewy order late morning yesterday and it's to be delivered today. The last time we ordered it took 3 days to arrive. Must be coming from a more local warehouse here in PA. (Mechanicsburg). She was unable to get her usual Friskies canned food as it was all pretty much out of stock and Walmart didn't have it either. She ended up ordering Fancy Feast which is pricier, especially when feeding 7 cats. I know this seemed to be an issue at the beginning of CoVid and it's happening again, I guess.

The dog food I buy is more money on Chewy.  I am about 2 minutes from a pet store so I just buy there.
