I watched this show for the first time last night and found it extremely disturbing. These "overweight" moms are forcing their kids to perform, even though they are not physically fit and cry and clearly do not want to do what they are doing.
One girl was taken to a spinal specialist and he told her to that if she "shed" a few pounds, it wouldn't hurt. He took x-rays and found a crack in the bone, which he said would not cause a serious problem later on and she could still do the cheerleading. The mother's eyes lit up when he said she would be okay. The kid had such a sad look on her face. These mothers need to be put away someplace, seriously. Shows like these are getting worse and worse. The mother specifically said she is living through her daughter, like it or not.
