In the kitchen, I use my teakettle.  I keep a small electric  kettle (Bodum) on a shelf in the bathroom.  The style doesn't suggest "Let's have tea & crumpets."🙃  It's really not very noticeable.

I just pour it on.  Cleans stove tops, pour on thick cleaning towel and wipe the tile backsplashes.  🌸

Thank you for your reply, @Elri I .  I still can’t imagine pouring boiling water on everything. I wonder how long it takes to kill what it needs to kill. Blessings to you as you clean!

Why not just use a hand-held  steam cleaner instead?

@SilleeMee

I just cut out the middleman 🙂

I have actually done this for many years. It's very effective and I don't want/need another appliance.

By the way, I always read your posts because your information is science-based and logical.

@Teddie

Thank you, Teddie.  You're very nice.

I don't know about the germ death rate ☺️ but it works on sticky food messes.  Poured on a thick white cleaning towel, the water does a great job on tile backsplashes, also.

@Elri I  YOU are the nice one—to have the patience to explain things.  I see you as trying to clean without all the terrible chemicals. That can’t be bad. Take good care.

I use white vinegar in peace time, peroxide in war on Carona time, and alcohol on electronics.
