My son showed me how AI works. He used the app ChatGPT to make examples of how the artificial intelligence operates. We enjoy watching "Dallas," so he asked it to write an episode of its return to prime time. It was ready in seconds and a very good plot. The dialogue is not there, but the premise of the episode in spelled out in detail.

Next, I asked him to have it make an offer on a house. It was in letter form to the seller explaining why I wanted their house. It then went into detail of price, closing date, inspections and other contingencies. It included everything. The only thing needed was to fill in the blanks for the specific details. It was title company ready.

I asked it about a well-known education theory, and it wrote a complete accurate account. I then asked about an obscure program and details were missing, but the theory was correct. It does have a detectable pattern of writing that educators will recognize if a lazy student does not edit and add original ideas.

Thank you. @Yahooey found it for me to use on another site and helped me post it. My son posted it here. I have much in common with tortoises and turtles. We amble along a similar speed, but we usually win for our slow and steady pace.

Bing Chat is also very good.  Use it in "creative" mode and ask it to write poetry, stories, parodies about anything you want.  It will style a poem however you request - haiku, limerick, free form, etc.  I asked it to write a QVC parody and it was funny.

I have used a few of the Al chats and like them. Google has a bot called Bard. It doesn't have any ads.
