I've seen others ask how to change their nickname on these boards. Just go to My Account and click on Account Settings. There you will see Nickname and you can change yours if you want.  You won't lose your previous posts, they will just show up under your new nickname.

@LuvmyLab Great info, thanks.  I've noticed @Evilmomlady I think is the nic who changes her nickname frequently and I always wondered why/how.

I've always wondered how posters know who changes their "nic."

How can you tell?

Though I am aware that so many "new" posters with super complaints  with a first post or who say they've been posting since before QVC was QVC and know everything about everything have probably posted before.

I always appreciate esp with a longtime poster who post in their tag line who they were before.

But I guess some want to change their persona or don't want anyone to know who they were before.

Something is wrong with it. A day or two after i became a poster I decided I wanted a different nic. I followed the directions, it doesn't work. It tells you your name is changed to "new name", but when you come here it still keeps the old name. I decided it wasn't worth it.

@decaf  This is what happened to me.  I changed my name in settings but it didn't change while Impost...I would prefer to use my old posting name @Lilysmom  but it won't allow me.  S

You are correct, @colleena. Having more than one nic at a time is very bad form.

And if someone does want to change their nic, it's polite to indicate that in their signature line at least for a little while.
