Changes we never thought we'd see

The longer you live, the more astounding the changes in life. I was thinking about some things I sure did not anticipate.

Phones - who could have predicted the move from landlines to cell phones. Who knew pay phones would go the way of the dinosaur?

Postal Service - who could have predicted the Postal Service would suffer from lack of mail? The rise of e-mail, e-cards, etc. have lowered the volume of mail significantly.

Computers - who could figure we would use computers for most everything. We almost can't operate in the world without them or not having one.

Electricity - we have choices in who our electric service is - not totally, but who provides the rates and billing.

I'm sure there's others I just am not thinking of. Anyone else?
