It sounds like you are worst type of patient, they type that physicians dread having to deal with.  There's nothing wrong with the doctors. They type on the tablets because with a patient like you, they are careful to document everything you say and everything they way.  Because, you are trouble waiting to happen.  Many docs type the notes immediately so they get everything in the record just as it happened.  Some do it that way, some don't.  Blood pressure checks are a required EVERY time a patient sees a physician and if there is a problem, it will and should be addressed.  Even if you went in for sore toe.  Because a sore toe won't kill you, high blood pressure will.  I don't know if you are clinically depressed or not; many elderly people are.  But you certainly are not high on life....lol  It's not the medical care, it's you.

@chrystaltree  Thankfully, your other completely uncalled for comment has been poofed.

@chrystaltree   What an unnecessarily rude and unsympathetic response! Whatever happened to civility and good manners? We don't need you to tell us what's wrong with us,that's for sure.

She is one the most selfish, uncaring, arrogant, and rude people out here. I've noticed her comments are never removed either. Interesting?  I try to ignore her.

excpa:   Please do not quit trying to get the help you need and don't give up.  Don't let the rude and unkind posts make you feel bad.  There are a few people on here who say the things  they do to get attention.  I guess, for them,  negative attention is better than none.  They do it to everyone here.....so I wouldn't take it too personally if I were you.

Doctors are doing things differently now then they did back in the day.  I have been taking parents to doctors for years now (like 20 years)  so I mean hundreds of times, if not a  thousands!  My dad has been through 11 major operations and at 86 mom is having problems too.  It's ok to be a little picky about your doctor. If there is one thing I have found out it is.......  all doctors and nurses are not created equal.  When you see your doctor the next time tell him exactly how you feel.  Tell him you don't think he is understanding you and you need for him to understand. Write down what you want him to understand. If you get a new doctor tell him how you are feeling and that you feel you have been misunderstood and that you really need someone who will listen.  You won't want to do what your doctor says if you don't trust him.  God bless you and again....please don't give up on doctors.....there are some good ones out there!
