Can anyone please explain why people need to have their cellphones ringing and why people need to be blabbing on phones everywhere non stop? (unless you are a Dr or waiting for a transplant, then I can see it).
Earlier tonight -DH took me to eat at a casual restaurant. Two people sitting near us had their phones going off constantly. Now I am telling the truth when I say there was a toddler (about 2 or 3) sitting near us (at another table) who only made a noise once (which doesn't bother me in the least ie I adore kids). BUT the adults cant turn off their cells?
I think instead of banning kids from restaurants we should ban adults WITH cellphones. I was about ready to yell (and Im not picky and have never complained anywhere while eating but these people were on my last nerve). The one guy even thought it was funny too and he and his friends (or whoever was sitting with him) were laughing every time the phone rang (which was about 10 times in an hour).
For heavens sake, toddlers are more mature than some adults.
