I just don't get them...no I'm not THAT old but really, has the communication amongst the population really improved?

I see people dialing, texting (even though it's illegal in my state) and driving

Really scares me while I'm on the road and see people on their phones, they are either driving less than the speed limit or just zoom right past me. They can't drive straight, constantly seeing them cross the centerlane.

I see little children with cell phones....why? Do you mother's/father's really believe your child is safer with a cell phone?

I see young adults have phones, why? they see their friends all day at school and what's so secretive that the house phone can't be used?

I hear about people paying hundreds of dollars in hard earned cash to pay for cell phones..why? I'm sure Sprint, Verizon sends out millions of Happy Birthday cards to you?

Internet Options? Why? Why do we have to be connected to get updates on football games, any sporting event, the stock market climbing or falling or even the latest gossip about a celeb.....why do we need to know now and that very minute?

I sure don't get it....for an emergency, one of those pay per minute phones, sure, I spend $100 a year for activation and a prepaid card that lasts me way into many years...there is nothing that important in my life that I need to make calls to anyone.

....and by the way, do I need a personal assistant as shown with the new I4S phone, heck no, unless they know how to cook and clean.
