I know celebrities derserve their privacy especially when it comes to their children, but this is a pet peeve of mine. I don't want to see a picture of your newborn's foot, hand, or the back of their head. You don't want to share a photo of your child then don't. Jessica Biel posted a picture of herself, Justin Timberlake, and their two boys, the picture is so far away ( I wouldn't even know it was them), and it's the back view.

JMO, but I wish someone would have bothered to post the photo everyone is upset about.

There was a photo originally, @Tinkrbl44.  Not sure why it's disappeared.

It was this, only the one I saw posted the other day was, I think, reversed.

I recall the van being on the other side, @Tinkrbl44

Not sure why the picture upthread is now gone.

But that is the whole point.

Re: Celebrities Children

[ Edited ]

At the time of Archie's birth. M & H were financed by the Britsh taxpayers who felt they had a vested interest in the people they generously supported. Their security was sufficient to protect the Queen and her great grandchildren whose photos were shared with them. No one is demanding photos of the children of Jessica and Justin. What is objectionable is the teaser photo that was released.

I am sure most celebrities would love to share how beautiful their children are on their own social media page, but there are crazy people out there now....so security and safety is paramount. I don't think there is really anymore to it than that; I think it's the main reason we don't see close-up photos of a lot of children of celebrities, as well as why ma y don't disclose where they go to school, etc. Showing the newborn foot or head is a just silly, though.

What people criticizing these parents' decisions to carefully shield their children's faces are not considering .... it is much, much harder to kidnap a child for a big ransom if you don't know what the kid looks like and no one has a good photo of them!

We've reached the point as a society where people are whining about not seeing the face of Justin Timberlake's children.

LOL ....    Rather surprising, IMO.  But they complained about H&M's kids faces not shown, as if they are entitled to see faces up close, no matter how possibly unsafe that might be for the little tykes.   People are getting dumber all the time.
