Re: Celebrities Children

[ Edited ]

I'm not understanding why the people who say they don't care about celebrities, are fussing about the pictures that these same people take or post of their kids. I usually only see the many pictures of famous people that are posted here, because I take no interest or follow any of them.

I am interested in some celebrities. I am interested in seeing pictures of them. I don't feel entitlited to them, but I did click on the link to see a picture of Justin & Jessica's sons. I was a tiny bit disappointed to only see the back of them.

I wanted to see if they have Justin's crazy hair.

Celebrities have fans that are interested in what they are doing in their lives, so they try to accomodate that without comprising the way that they want to live their lives & have some privacy.

I can appreciate how hard that is.

@JamandBread

Nonsense

Justin  and Jess kept the birth of their second son secret, then, once revealed, wouldn't divulge his name. And now the bait and switch, the click bait, the keep away teaser. It's a turn-off to be set up. The jokes on all those who clicked on their come on to see the picture of their family and finding it to be, literally, turning their backs on them.

Maybe they want to post family pics but don't want their children to be recognized. Can't blame them.
There are sick, sick people in this world. All you have to do is listen to some phone calls recently made public to give you an idea of the degenerates walking among us.

Then here's a thought----Don't post your family's pics!

So if they don't share full face pics of their kids with the public they shouldnt share the joy they have in their families at all?

Uh. Ok.

That's right! They want privacy, but they want us to see their family. It does not make sense. Think about it.....

Exactly!  As a previous poster stated so well, they want to have their cake and eat it too.  Don't post your families' pics all over social media, etc. then whine about needing and respecting their privacy.

Who cares? Celebrity parents have the same obligation as the rest of us, to protect their children, but maybe even moreso as they could get targeted.  They have every right to post whatever they want, to the degree that they are comfortable with, regardless of the demands of rest of us.

Posters are objecting, or as you put it dismissively, fussing because it was disrespectful. Celebrities are dependent on those who find them appealing, care about them, what they're doing, and are interested in their families. Without fan support, they would become has-beens.

Let's look at this logically @JeanLouiseFinch . They want to protect their children, because they could be targeted, so they release pictures of the children from the back, or the foot or head to remind the culprit they have children to target.

Nonsense they release the pictures because their giant ego's want to be in the lime light, and they actually think we are grateful to get to look at their child's, foot, head whatever.

On Christmas, Jessica Biel shares rare photos with Justin Timberlake and their two sons. | Nokia News

I think this is a nice picture.

People complain that "celebrities" post too much personal info and then complain that they do not post enough.

It is what they chose so either stop following celebrities around or accept how they choose to post their pics.  They are not out to please YOU.

Well, they should be if they wish to remain popular and enjoy the financial larges that the public provides. I liked Justin's music and found him entertaining when he was on with Jimmy Fallon, who shared his two daughters with the public during lock down, and was mildly interested in his son's. I wouldn't have cared if he and his wife chose not to post pictures, but this set up has me feeling tricked, deceived.

@occasionalrain   If you feel tricked and deceived, that is on you.

Whether the picture is going to doom their careers is nonsense.

Posters are yapping, again, about "egos" and "staying relevant", and blah blah blah.  As though everyone is a mind-reader.

I doubt they are worried about their careers; what they chose to post is their choice.  They are not out to please you.

Again, either stop following celebrities expecting them to act the way YOU want them to act or accept their choices.

It's that simple.
