Re: Celebrating the Little Stuff! (or, even Big Stuff)

I'm alone now and I keep saying "adulting" is hard...my spouse was my "handyman!

I've learned so much about home repairs this year😳

Today my a/c was not working -- called a/c company who informed me a Saturday service call would be considered "emergency fees".  I then was talking to my good friend he told me about the overflow line outside probably needed to be cleaned.

Yeah I cleaned it and a/c working just fine! I surprise myself every day with new things I've learned on this single journey😊😊

@JoyFilled Warrior   Do you like the showerhead?  I am looking at one for myself.

@JoyFilled Warrior

I'm proud of you for taming the shower head beast!  Plumbing is a dangerous attempt for a non-plumber.

The first thing I do is toss the user manual behind me with the rest of the packing material.  I've been operating my robot vac/mop for about 3 weeks without it.  I came across something yesterday that made me think, humm, I'm going to have to refer to the manual for this.  I don't put things together, that's my husband's job.  Most things I can operate without referring to the manual.  I learn better if I figure it out myself.  OTOH, my mother was a manual junkie.  Also, Googling a question is a lot faster than trying to find it in a user manual.  I also download PDFs so I can search for keywords instead of searching for them in a paper or online manual.  I don't think my air fryer even came with a user manual.  So many things are just shipping with a getting started page and letting the buyer download the manual.

@NYCLatinaMe    Hi   Woman Happy

Honestly, I havent truly experienced the Overhead part on my body,  that is,  officially yet, (other than that time I was klunked by it on my head).

    That Overhead part is pretty darn heavy, to me.  Heavier than I thought!  Maybe not heavy for others tho.  (But, I also have had very serious Swim, esp Diving injuries, directly to my head & spine, so maybe it was that also??)

     I've been a bit trepidatious about using the overhead part again.  I'm not sure I screwed it back in/on tightly enough, not to bop me on the head again.  I *will* try it again tho, cause I like the choice of overhead and/or Handheld.      Maybe I'll grab my new neighbor to assert his muscle before I try again?

This is a rental Im living in now, so I decided not to install the handheld on the wall, (like the pic shows), but it has a nice longgg hose part, so I wrap it around the faucet, (several times, in fact),  or lay it on the bath wall shelves.

But I'll tell ya, my HVAC man was sooo excited with this gizmo, when he was installing it.  (no, He didnt use it here here  heh)

    He was super excited something about the overhead part is called *Rainfall Shower Head* which he'd already known a lot about apparently.

    He said he was going to go right out & buy this same one for himself, & his wife, & family.

Here's info if this is the one above that you want:

"Hibbent All Metal High Pressure Rainfall 10 Inch Shower Head/Handheld Showerhead Combo/ 12 Inch Adjustable Curved Shower Extension Arm, 7-Spray, 71-inch Hose, Adhesive Showerhead Holder, Matte Black"  (Style: Square 10'')

Enjoy, @NYCLatinaMe

(BTW, - If you think of it, & get any one such, wld you mind giving feedback?  Either abt this item, or another you may have chosen?  Perhaps leave yr feedback here, or perhaps at the following thread:

   ENJOY!!    @NYCLatinaMe   Woman Happy

Re: Celebrating the Little Stuff! (or, even Big Stuff)

Thanks for the feedback @JoyFilled Warrior.. It is the fact that it has a rainfall shower head and a handheld that appealed to me.  I hope the water pressure is good.  It might be a little while until I get one.  You found that in Amazon?  That is where I saw it.

QVC sells rainfall showerheads too.  You might want to check out a video.  Amazon has a video of your specific shower head.  Looks like a good one.

@NYCLatinaMe

Thanks!  I took a look at my Overhead just 2 hrs ago, & looks crooked to me. Pehaps I didnt twist the screw tightly enough? Not sure

I'll use the overhead only after I have some strong guy, who's tall, twist that sucker on good and solid, so it doesnt fall again! That head bopping wasnt fun.

But the circumfrance of that particular Shower Head seems big & wide!  (If standing under it, for those 1.5 seconds) heh

And I think the hand held has many many choices of spray, including ?one that comes the front edge of the hand held head.  Great for rinsing off the inside shower curtin, walls, inside tub after.

(added:  Im surprised I bought the Black one.

Im a Chrome sorta gal, & I saw they offered choice of Chrome too.  I wonder what was going on in my head for that unusual choice of black for me.)
