Hi @Forum_Friends
The last Owner's HVAC man was kind enough to install my new Shower Head/Hand Held here at this new Apt.
(I learned a long time ago, the 1st step most men seem to do is, automatically toss the UNread instructions. I'm usually standing by, ready to dive for, & read'em).
Before stepping in to the shower/tub, part way thru, I twisted the knob that Instructions say, changes from Hand Held to Overhead Shower water. That darn MASSIVE shower head dropped down & BOPPED me in the head, *HARD*!
Nude, wet, slippery, soapy, hurting, with water spraying all over the place, both overhead & Handheld, somehow I managed to climb out of the shower, without slipping, & falling.
Turns out, apparently the HVAC man is left handed, & he installed this device the way that made sense to his left-handed self. That means the two knobs were switched.
I've been afraid to climb up the step stool, the tub edge, tub wall, & reach above the Shower Head, to straighten, & tighten that hefty Shower head back up again. But I did it, last night! And my elderly, pained body didnt fall!

I'm glad you were able to resolve the problem. It is a good feeling when you are able to do something on your own.
I am happy to be able to still drive, do household chores and be out and about. I am an older person and still being independent is uplifting!

@JoyFilled Warrior I changed the ear muffs on my headphones all by myself by reading the user manual.
The only ruff spot was #2. I had to use elbow grease to scrap/remove the old glue w/rubbing alcohol. A lot of the reviewers stated DO NOT USE GOO GONE which I was going to use. Other than that, easy peasy.

I dont know about you, but it's sooo easy for me to talk myself out of doing the supposed "little things" for myself -- but dammit - WE/I DESERVE IT!! yeah?

It sure is, isnt it!!
The other day, I kept crossing paths with a very older, very difficult to get around lady, in my personally, "hardly-ever-get-there-grocery-store." She was helped by a younger man, who kindly walked slowly for her. I felt elated, that I was able to get out also!! Like FREEDOM!!
As she was moving thru the grocery store, & he was selecting what she expressed was looking for, she was smiling, more & more!
As we were walking to our respective cars, I asked her, and glanced at him, isnt it GREAT to finally get out of the house?! This lady BEAMED with joy ... just LIT RIGHT UP! And started conversing up a storm!!
And what I thought might be her grandson was a Helper from an Organization. We were ALL 3 HAPPY!! He enjoyed being a part of 2 elderly ladies connecting about F-R-E-E-D-O-M!!

@JoyFilled Warrior I like your new name, and even thought to myself, she writes like make up maiden! I hope you are getting settled after your move.
Anyways, my father has had difficulty, and can no longer drive. A simple trip to Walmart, or a lunch out really brightens his day! I am thankful we can still get around easily.
My SO, he could not figure out a tool. Reading the manual, and still struggling, I was off to you tube. Showed him almost instantly how to load the new nail gun. I have to admit, I never do great with the manual myself. We had it loaded in seconds. He's not very tech savvy, but glad I found a video on you tube to help.
