I can't stand Andi McDowell as an actress. She's always pouty looking and seems ready to cry.
@RainyDayGal LOL - The expression on her face always makes she thinks she is constipated and in pain LOL!
She is a terrible actress. She was the only weak link about terrific actors in Four Weddings and a Funeral. I love that film except for her, and always wish someone else had played her role when I watch that film.

Reminder: Season Finale tonight!
I'm sure there will be some cliffhangers - and maybe even Cliffhangers even though he was barely in the show this season and barely recognizeable either!
I really hope they don't pull any more tacky advertising stunts this week for the season ender. It sure seems like this season of the show went very, very quickly. Anyone know whether it's been renewed for a Season 4?

This made me laugh out loud:
"Justine's boyfriend saw the future with her and Afghanistan looked better. "

The wedding of Cliff and Grace was hardly a big deal to me, the audience, because we barely saw Cliff all season - their relationship was a non-starter so about the wedding, who cares? (And Grace's extensions were ugly - her own hair has been prettier).
I think Paul should have asked his final question to Olivia quite a while ago. Kinda late in the game now....
I did enjoy the scene when he finally came out and told her why he was leaving. That scene IMO was well played.

I'm wondering how Olivia will answer his question. Has this already been renewed for another season? I hope so. It's not my favorite show, but I do enjoy it. This is the only season I've watched it.

This is the only wedding that didn't make me cry. And I always cry whether it's a real wedding or a tv/movie wedding.
I also never noticed that Andie MacDowell's eyebrows slanted down so much before.
I don't think I'm alone when I say, if we have to have these characters, then Olivia should be with Paul, and Jack should be with Alex. (Jack will be traveling for his story; Alex will be in the Hamptons part of the time.) Making that happen will lead to lots of angst and will help make Grace strong again so she can support Olivia while Olivia agonizes over the decision.
And you noticed, I'm sure, that the actor who plays Cliff is in the movie shown directly after Cedar Cove. Someone was speaking about how the Hallmark actors switch between shows a lot.
I haven't found anything yet that indicates whether the show is coming back for another season.
It seems to me the people on these forums could write more informative and lively scripts than the ones Hallmark has used so far.

@GingerPeach I absolutely would like to see Olivia with Paul (I don't care so much about Jack and Alex but yes, they are a much more suitable couple). But, I don't think Paul should be giving up so soon and leaving. Nobody likes a quitter! I like Paul but am losing respect for him for leaving. And also for not asking Olivia that last question before he decided to leave. So I lost some respect for him.
Back to that final question, Olivia's expression on her face indicated to me she would say "no" but her reaction to Jack lettting her brother rend out his house -- Jack might need it -- indicates to me otherwise. But yes, Olivia and Paul are a much better match but I think Jack is much more attractive, esp. when Paul has that awful beard stubble going on. If the show does come back, how many milliseconds will go by before Olivia blabs to Grace what Paul confessed to her?
Dylan Neal is in a new mystery show for the Hallmark Channel this season so the station definiteily keeps recycling their actors (same like the Law and Order different shows - actors repeated those shows constantly).
The writers need to develop the characters much better so the audience is more invested in them. Cliff and the wedding being a good example. If we aren't invetested in the characters, who cares?

I think what i dislike about the characters on this TV version of the Cedar Cove series is that the female characters all feel so needy and clingy to me. This is not how a woman who has made it on her own to become a judge would be acting IRL she would be self confident and strong. I much prefered the women in the books.
I doubt I will pay the extra required to my cable company to get hallmark channel next summer so I can watch this show.

While the show and the characters have many flaws, I don't think I agree with this. Olivia wasn't putting up with Jack lying to her. It's taken her almost the enitre season to accept him back, and she still hasn't completely given that remark about he may still need his own place. Although her daughter Justine seems at times to me to be needy, ultimately she doesn't put up with a lot either. She broke the engagement to Warren, she dumped the guy before Luke (granted, for another guy but she still dumped him) and now she's upset but not putting up with Luke's choice of wanting to be away. She doesn't seem to want to pine away while he may be deployed somewhere (he won't be it turns out, but she wasn't going to beg him to stay). Grace's daughter - yes, I would agree with you. But not in terms of Olivia. She seems to be her own person.
And Alex seemed to like Paul - enough to ask him to the ball game - but he isn't interested in her and she's accepting that - she doesn't seem to be pining away for him in the least.
