GOOD ONE - ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!

I am going to veer off-topic here. There have been so many postings on this thread deleted. I wonder why. Moderators, Sometimes I find standards inconsistent. Offending photos here, yet the thread "Do you find this photo shoot attractive?" Has been up for a very long time. I never complained because I was curious to see what would happen. It is still there. Oh, first posting leads you to a series of photos of Kim K posing in different suggestive shots in flesh-colored underwear, showing off her big tush. I guess that"s OK. I know you will take this posting down as "argumentative," "challenging the moderators," but I do want to make the point that your removals can be rather inconsistent.

@Say Nay, that's really a shame, you've had some very good points in your comments on this issue and I certainly saw none of your posts that were 'poof-worthy'.
Sometimes, there's no ryhme or reason.....sigh.
BTW, love that pic, but it should say, "We're looking for a dentist....and LUNCH!

Now its being reported that the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force suggests that punishment for Dr. Palmer ought to be community service providing dental care to the local population.
Very good idea. But just how many teeth would he have to pull in order to pay the world back for poaching Cecil? Would such an arrangement be based on a HEAD count (he seems to like those).
Or would he agree to moving to Zimbabwe for a few short months in order to fulfill such an agreement (if the world agreed to such, that is).
Gee, travel with Dr. Palmer and find out how to turn one's vanity kill-safari into a rreeeeaaalllly long working vacation.

For the crimes he committed in Zimbabwe, I think his punishment should be that he pays the expense for Cecil's cubs to be rescued and raised, until they are old enough to survive in the wild on their own. At least then Cecil's bloodline can continue.
AND, if it's determined that he broke US laws, as a complaint filed by a Minnesota Congresswoman states, he should do community service here, by providing free dental services to needy families, who can't afford dental care otherwise.

I agree. I think that while the visceral reaction to such a person is to see his head mounted (yeah like on a wall), educating and enlightening him is perhaps the more valuable tactic in reaching him (if its possible to reach him at all).
Instead of dentistry, although I am certain its needed in the region, Dr. Palmer is not a person who went to Zimbabewe in that capacity either - as a "Doctors without Borders" sort of person. He wasn't motivated to go there to aid either lions - or Man.
Maybe as the insatiable, head-hunting, "killing is fun" hunter he is, he would be better served (or his humanity better served anyway) if he were perhaps "forced" to work with the lions or a conservation group and the reserves in the region. Let him SEE and interact with exactly what he is killing rather than getting away all his life with objectifying these animals.
If he is perhaps FORCED to see the mother lions with their cubs or how a once proud Cecil took pride in his pride or how elephants are so family-oriented and caring with one another...he just MIGHT have some switch turned on inside his head (or better yet, his soul).
Doing some root canals as punishment might be "nice". But this guy needs a total overhaul and enlightenment to the world and to the significance & miracle which is all its living creatures.

No need - just look at the expression on their faces.
Thanks for posting that photo, Smaug.

Karma would be he being a dentist to lions in the preserve and do it w/o them being anesthesized!

HOPEFUL NEWS:
"Reuters reports that the Fish and Wildlife Service is looking into whether Palmer violated the Lacey Act, which, among other things, makes it a federal crime to trade in wildlife killed in violation of foreign law."
