Cats and Carpet

I have 3 cats and am considering carpeting my nasty hardwood floors (they are splintery and unfinished).

What is the most cat-proof kind of carpeting I can buy?

I need to buy it in a nice cat-barf color (brown) because my cats barf a lot.
