OK first please don't bash me for posting this. I WILL take my baby to the vet if things don't improve. Am just looking for insight. Jaspurr is 3 1/2 years old and is a totally indoor cat. He never comes in contact with other animals other than his brother who is also totally indoor. They have both had their URI vaccinations. Since they are Himalayans they do have runny eyes sometimes but for the past two days Jaspurr's seem to be worse and he is also sneezing weird, sort of like a combination sneeze and cough at the same time. When I pick him up I can hear a little congestion in his breathing. He is eating but not playing - he slept all day yesterday. What could this be? I have often wondered if they both have latent herpes infections because when they were babies they sneezed almost constantly. The vet says no but she has never actually tested them. I can't imagine what else it could be since they haven not been exposed to anything. Anybody?
