So he deserves what is happening to him?
His children deserve being kept away from their own father?
nobody said he deserves it but..... Those hollywood guys that dump their wives and trade them in for gold digging bimbos always wind up with these problems....look at Candy Spelling..she convinced the old man to leave the kids nothing. When Kasem was younger and virile he was so proud of his new wife...as if she would have married him if he were poor. ho hum

Kasem was born Kamal Amin Kasem[4] in Detroit, Michigan,[4] on April 27, 1932 to Lebanese Druze parents who emigrated from the British Mandate of Palestine to Lebanon. After arriving in the United States, they settled in Michigan, where they worked as grocers.[5] Kasem is a graduate of Northwestern High School in Detroit and Wayne State University.[4]

She holds 12 patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, all pertaining to crib and canopy design, developed for her crib business, Little Miss Liberty Round Crib Company.[4]
Well, this surprised me!

because Indian land is a sovereign nation within a nation.........government is not supposed to come on Indian land, the laws don't apply unless the Tribal council agrees to it.......it what the treaties called for........but then, we ALL know how well the government follows the treaties they drew up...................................raven

Jean Kasem was one of five children, with siblings Jeanette, Shirley, Joan and Tommy Thompson, of Irene Celia Thompson (1919-2008) and Herbert Owens Thompson Sr. (deceased).[2] She lived in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, before her civil-servant father moved the family to Guam in 1963 to help stop her recurring pneumonia.[3] She attended the University of Guam at age 16, but after marrying a U.S. Navy lieutenant when she was 17, she left to work as a waitress and saleswoman on U.S. military bases throughout the Pacific Ocean to which her husband was posted. The marriage lasted six years.[3] Kasem then moved to California and unsuccessfully attempted to find work in broadcast journalism. Frustrated, she joined an acting workshop and soon found roles on such TV series as Matt Houston, Fantasy Island and Alice.[3]

Thanks for the reminder Preds. I thought I had read something once about her being involved in that. She might have played a "bimbo" on television, but she isn't one in RL, she knows exactly what she is doing, and sadly it seems she holds all the cards right now. Again, I feel so terrible for his children, they might never get to see their father before he dies, and that is just so sad and tragic.
