I just heard that he is missing. The whole situation is just so sad. From New York Daily News.
Radio icon Casey Kasem has gone missing, prompting a judge to order an immediate investigation into his whereabouts.
The order came Monday after a lawyer for Kasem’s wife said he’d been “removed” from the country without warning. Now his kids are counting down the days until his safe return.
“We're going to find him, take care of him and love him," daughter Kerri Kasem vowed in an exclusive interview with the Daily News. "He's going to be with family, not stuck in some unfamiliar place where he's dying alone."
Kerri Kasem is one of three adult kids from a previous marriage who have been battling stepmom Jean Kasem in court over access to their legendary dad.
Casey, 82, suffers from advanced Parkinson's disease, can no longer speak and is fed through a tube, sources told The News.
The "Top 40" legend had been living in a private care facility recently, but it's believed he was released at Jean Kasem’s request last week, Kerri Kasem said.
She suspects her dad might be in Canada because a family source overheard plans to move him to an Indian reservation in Washington, she told The News.

Bizarre. Jean Kasem refused to let Casey's kids have access to him when he was in the private care facility . That's cruel, IMO. What is she afraid of? He is their father, for Heaven's sake.

It's all very sad since his children clearly love him and are worried about him. Jean has kept them away from him far too long. There is just something odd about the whole thing, and it seems she is up to no good. She probably made Casey change his will so she gets everything, and is keeping him somewhere until he dies. I feel awful for the children. I was watching the story and they mentioned one of his daughter's will have control of medical decisions for her dad, IF they can ever get him back to them.

This "wife" is out of her mind and I think it's awful that his own children can't see their father, but it happens more than many people know.
It's usually over money and/or control, and not about the health and welfare of the person in question. If anyone reading has a 2nd or 3rd.....whatever number spouse, please make some provisions in your legal paperwork for your children to have access to you in case you become incapacitated.
Much of the time the person who actually has custody of the person holds all the legal cards and children have the same rights as grandparents in court...which is little to none.

Cassie's heart is probably breaking. Due to his Parkinson's, he can't speak, so he can't tell his so-called "wife" what his wishes are.
For all we know, what is being done to him, is being done against his will.

Yep. That current wife is the one. She wants his estate. Of course she's keeping those kids away. He's probably being held somewhere. He can't last too much longer. He's in bad shape.

What's the reason for moving him to a reservation? Is she trying to physically put him in a place where he's under tribal law? Because Native Americans wouldn't care too much for how she's keeping Casey from his own children.

That's what happens when you marry a bimbo.

So he deserves what is happening to him?
His children deserve being kept away from their own father?
