O/T sort of...who do you make the check out to? The bride or groom or both?

I usually give cash and get new crisp bills for it. I have written checks and whoever I am closer to is the name I put on the check.

Thanks...that's what I did but wanted to get more opinions.

The wedding is this evening. Better finish getting ready.

Re: Cash Wedding Gift - How much?

Normally we give $250.00. However, you asked for a "generous" monetary gift, so I would bump that up to $500.00

Re: Cash Wedding Gift - How much?

A wedding gift for someone you know, and want to be generous as you said, is 100 at least. I give the kids of my neighbors of 28 years,a Keurig or KA stand Mixer. I give relative's kids, I have never met 50 bucks. I have to say concidering the post you wrote, about the young man, and the relationship I would give 100 or more, but if your husband wants less go 75? You didn't say what you were thinking
