We had a similar situation in my husband's family. Men don't realize how cunning these trophy wives can be. They fall in love in their older years and fear being alone so they tolerate a lot of drama that ensues from the trophy wive dividing and conquering.

There should be community workshops for mature single men considering another marriage -- what to watch out for and how to protect themselves when they age and are more dependent on their much younger spouse.

How hard is it to find a man of his age and condition? It's disgraceful that his children are being kept away.

That is horrible. She is evil. Those poor children. I can't imagine being kept from my father and not even knowing his whereabouts bc of that nasty woman, and likely in his final days/months/years, no less. What a sad situation.
