I'm so sick of these men (?) always looking for something younger, etc. Then a big deal is made of the fact that 'they are (for the sake of their children) living together'. What is that about? I would think it would confuse the children even more. Ugh!
Do you have some evidence that he was cheating? Maybe the couple was just a less than perfect match to begin with.
I honestly don't think people should stay together when the relationship is over, do you?

Maybe then their vows should have said, "....or until we think this relationship is over."

Sorry, but I don't think marriage should be like doing hard time with someone in a life sentence. JMO
In case you didn't know, the divorce rate continually hovers around 50%, so common sense should tell you that not every marriage is a perfect match!
There are MANY reasons that marriages don't make it, but one thing I know for sure ...... unless BOTH people want to stay married, there is no chance for it succeeding. That's a fact.

@Tinkrbl44 I wasn't disputing any of that. Just that the marriage vows should reflect other possibilities nowadays. To me, a vow is a vow. So at least make the vows more realistic. You don't have to convince me of anything.

He's Batman.

No I don't. I just made a blanket statement. I did say that maybe she was the one who dumped him.
I've seen so much divorce in my family, more than most people ever know or hear about. I've also seen where it could have been worked out. There are times when it is better for the children if they part (abuse, etc).
