I am so sorry to hear of Carrie's passing as I have always enjoyed her and her work. If you happen to have the chance to see her one woman show "Wishful Drinking" it is a classic especially the 10 minutes she spends trying to untangle her family ties between all of her parent's marriages and resulting relationships. I actually had to watch it a couple of times to fully grasp how complicated things were for her as a child and yet she made it side splitting. Such a great talent, I am so sorry that she is gone . . . RIP Carrie . . . ![]()

Her poor Mother, daughter, Todd and her family.. I am just sick over it..
It's so sad, but there is now evidence that those with Bi-Polar are more susceptible to heart disease.
I was so hoping she'd recover.....

@Q4u, thank you for that information.... I'd of never guessed bipolar patients were more susceptible to heart disease. You learn something everyday, and for that I thank you .. I too was hoping she'd recover..

I had no idea. My step-nephew suffers with bi-polar and he has had several heart attacks and is in his early 40's. I am so sad for Carrie's family...for her daughter, brother and her dear mother.

Oops had forgotten about Carrie's 1/2 sister's as well. It just struck me that her dad had two other children with Connie Stevens.

I'm so sad. RIP Carrie
We have watched so much Star Wars lately because of our GS, that I did forget she was in one of my most favorite movies: When Harry Met Sally.

@goldensrbest and @Suziepeach, Eddie Fisher broke his hip on September 9, 2010, and died 13 days later on September 22, 2010 at his home in Berkeley, California, from complications from hip surgery. He was 82 years old.

I hope this helps / IHTH

This news of Carrie Fisher passing is so very sad. My condolences to her Mother Debbie, Daughter Billie, Brother Todd and her faithful dog Gary and the rest of her family and friends. May Carrie rest in peace.
