I just don't get the loyalty to a tv host who is only there to get us to spend money on items they are selling for their employer. If a host I like leaves, for what ever reason, I'll still continue to buy from QVC.

Oh I just started a post too on her show...I'm sure someone will "scold" me for starting a duplicate post...oh well...
Anyway, I'm SO enjoying her show...she's knowledgeable, informative about growing, and as usual, so articulate and professional in her presentations.
I think this was such a great idea to have her back doing this! Welcome back, Carolyn! 🌼🌸🌺🪴🫑🍎

What a joy to see Carolyn on the Q this morning! Roberta's was absolutely brilliant to snatch her up for their gardening shows. She knows her stuff in the garden and has such an enthusiastic and honest persona. Now she can wear all of the floral shirts and jackets she bought for her shows before she got canned! I have MISSED her so much!
In their zeal to be politically correct, someone at the Q totally messed up. Caroline represented the average middle-aged woman who is the customer base of their company. Bring her back more often and THANK YOU to Roberta's!

@Redshoes07 You really don't have to "get it". Many people are lonely, maybe you are not. I know my grandmother pretty much stayed home and watched QVC most of the day. Now my mom is getting to that stage. I think they watch a lot of the programming and become connected to the hosts.
In addition, these shopping networks make every attempt to have the hosts relatable and friendly and hope that they appear to be our "friends". Yes, they are there to sell but many seem to genuinely care about their fans and audience.
There are many hosts I am not fond of and others love. There are products I never see a need for whereas customers love and buy. We don't have to understand it but respect that others may see things different than ourselves.

Carolyn's name may be on the product, but it's still Roberta's and IMO their products are awful. I've been burned by their past items, not just one, but several. Plus, I hate the way that all of them, hosts and vendors, put down stores like HD and Lowe's, when it comes to their plants. I've never had any problems with plants that I've bought locally. Carolyn acts like "her" plants are superior, just drives me crazy!! Rant over.
