I've left QVC.at least 2 yrs ago.  Don't even watch.  Wont come back. *Unless* the profound INEPTNESS at QVC's   C*Os, Q Mgt, INEPT "Inventory Control," & INEPT "IT Depts" remove their profound reason for their respective INEPTNESS.  "nothing personal" QVC.  It's no own "business decision" about my *own money* & my "own standards."

@JoyFilled Warrior Just out of curiousity--why do you always use so many quotation marks? I don't get it.

@They CallMe MRWILKES  If what @FiddleDeeDee  stated about customer service moving is accurate (she said it was "rumored"), the wage paid in Mexico to work from home or from a call center would likely be less than the wage earned by a CS rep from home in the US. I hope the "rumor" she mentioned won't come to fruition.

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is livestreaming?  Does this mean they would cancel their channels and just have a website?  I can't imagine that would increase sales.  I would never just choose to go to a QVC website and look around.

@santorini  If you type "livestream" into qvc's search bar, it will take you to their livestreams on this site.

I've been watching off an on since the late 90s and have seen many hosts come and go. But losing Carolyn and Dan is a hard one. I've been watching since Dan's early days. He was always personable and likeable. Carolyn I liked as well. I loved her gardening shows and she was very down to earth and relatable. I wonder who else is on the chopping block? I wouldn't miss Jane (who seems to be on the Q 7 days a week, every time I turn it on!) or Rick. I refuse to watch those two. I don't buy as much as I used to. But I'm more inclined to buy something from a host I like and trust than buying cold from the website or some newbie. I wish them both well. They'll be missed.

There are really no "call centers" any longer so they aren't moving to Mexico.

Virtually every customer service representative is now home-based, a trend that began during the pandemic and was made permanent for the vast majority.  One center was completely closed permanently due to this.

You can review all if Qurate's CS job openings and see that they are home based, with the specific requirements.

Sorry, but you're wrong. HSN has a huge call center in the Philippines; they outsource it to a company that handles call centers for many large companies. And yes, they are now setting up to move a large amount of their calls to Mexico with this same company. Yes, they are hiring for REMOTE jobs. That's because they're moving towards everyone working from home. Forward thinking and great for those who want that but.....they are limited in their scope of who can apply. Unless you live in their specific states and zip codes, you're out of luck.

Remember, it's not all about QVC when it comes to Qurate Retail GROUP.

@Desert Lily  If you don't know, you don't know and he doesn't.  The call center in Mexico is already in place and they're in the process of hiring and training for it. The language barrier/ability to speak clearly is the obstacle and the #1 complaint against the call center in the Philippines. And yes, you are correct: Qurate does NOT have to pay specific taxes by having these employees outside of the US; they offer far less pay and no benefits. Qurate is simply joining the rest of large companies by saving money taking jobs outside of the US.

Actually a big part of watching a shopping channel is WHO you are watching.

I am with you I can't believe it. It sucks they laid off that many employees but should go by seniority Dan and Carolyn what are they thinking.
